Developer

Project Manager

Work with managers to deliver technical solutions to a major client. This will involve pre-sales meetings, helping with tender documents and pitching
Aid Project Managers in providing the technical consultancy of the functional designs.
Provide assistance to Project Managers in the planning of projects (e.g. provision of estimates, risk analysis, technical options)
Producing technical specifications of projects and effective supervising of developers in implementing the solution from development to testing and deployment of the project
Ensuring a high quality standard is maintained in the solution developed on the allocated project via code reviews and test planning

Ability to provide leadership and motivation with the development team
Ability to work with Project Managers, keeping them informed of all the problems within the project
Ability to work with other senior developers, sharing knowledge between peers and within the general workforce
Ability to work with clients, contribute in workshops and give effective feedback to developers in the project team
A pro-active approach to work tasks, relying on initiative and a wider understanding of the project deliverables

Essential

Must have 3-5 years SQL experience – to stored procedure level, SQL 2000 experience and in particular SQL Explicit queries
Experience in Object Oriented Programming
Experience of working with a .Net framework/environment and use of C#
Implemented Microsoft Commerce Server and Content Management Server
Experience in HTML/CSS/XML
Experience of integration projects, integrating with back end legacy systems and other technologies together seamlessly. i.e. Microsoft DNA solution
Some experience in writing ASP and client side scripting
