Client Objectives
The British Army need to recruit and retain soldiers of the highest quality and ensure they are equipped to the highest possible standard. They wanted to upgrade the Army Jobs website to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), which has more features that the Army wanted to use. The challenge was to ensure that we could cut costs and maximise efficiency through MOSS migration.
Our Solution
We successfully migrated Army Jobs to MOSS, and the site is much easier to update. It contains rich media features such as Flash movies and lots of professional images. Dynamic content can also be added.
Successes and Achievements
Technical precision and effective project management ensured we met the Army’s budget constraint. Army Jobs is now one of the Army’s most popular websites. Administrators take advantage of MOSS’s enhanced content management capabilities to quickly update content in line with TV and print ads.
