Client Objectives
The Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Academy is a prestigious, global training and induction course for new or recently promoted Barclays auditors. BIA asked us to formulate a set of brand values and a visual identity that embraced them ahead of the academy launch. The goal was to give added credibility to BIA and portray it as an attractive place of work while fostering its excellent reputation.
Our Solution
We held stakeholder workshops at Barclays and its training agency, gauging their opinions on how the BIA Academy should be perceived. Next, we translated their comments into three distinct branding concepts and produced a logo, imagery and values based on "respect, excellence and unity." We also delivered a brand guidelines document to ensure consistent brand presentation.
Successes and Achievements
BIA Academy now has a solid identity for the future. This has helped boost a sense of pride amongst employees, inspiring confidence in the value and prestige of belonging to BIA and completing training. This is especially important for new starters, who get an immediate sense of belonging to a vibrant culture of excellence.
