Client Objectives
They began working with us in 2004, when they asked us to build a microsite to reinforce a national campaign using press, television, internet and poster advertising. The Carbon Trust was aware of its target audiences and wanted to communicate targeted information as well as provide them with tools to follow the Carbon Trust message through.
Our Solution
We provided a website that leads visitors to apply for information packs pertinent to their level of influence: corporate, operational or personal. In addition to design and development, we consulted on information architecture and taxonomy to ensure that users could intuitively find the right resources. We also implemented tracking tools for statistical measurement and analysis.
Successes and Achievements
The success of the project is proven in the continued use of the site to support promotional campaigns in offline and online media. We’ve been progressively updating and extending the microsite, which has become a fulcrum for other media activity. The flexible structure of the site allows simple modifications and enhancements to support new campaigns.
