David Dodd, founder of the leading web video production agency, Lightweight Media, has joined cScape's Customer Engagement Unit (CEU) as a rich media consultant. David was previously at the Barbican Centre and set up Lightweight Media in 2007 to develop and deliver new media solutions to a wide variety of high-profile clients, including Guardian Unlimited, Warner Bros, Pan Macmillan, MS Society, Southbank Centre and the Design Council.
As a cScape customer engagement consultant, David will help deliver eye-catching video over the web and mobile to a wider client base. David said: "It's a very exciting time for producing rich media for the web and mobile and I am looking forward to bringing video content and delivery expertise to cScape's diverse clients."
Until David's addition to the team, cScape's provision of online video for clients was managed through external companies like Groovy Gecko. With David's expansive skills and expertise, the agency now has the capacity to manage this service in-house and to more tightly integrate video, vblogs, virals and film production with its other services.
Richard Sedley, director of the cScape CEU, said: "David has a wealth of strategic experience gained through the entertainment and arts industry. We are very pleased to be able to add his core skills to the mix in 2008. The CEU is a group of highly skilled individuals who are experts in a range of fields - from e-marketing and customer relations to web design and analytics. David is a valuable addition to this team."
cScape is increasingly providing strategic advice for clients on rich media and how to integrate it with their wider content. With the benefit of David's expertise, cScape clients will be able to foster richer brand interactions for their customers.
