It wanted to improve the online services it delivered to its members by improving the findability of its content and through the introduction of personalisation and customisation, increasing the relevancy of content and services for targeted audiences. CIPD also wanted the site to influence and engage with a wider and more senior audience and increase the visibility of the breadth of its audiences.

  

Solution

cScape developed a feature-rich, visually engaging website for CIPD based on the SDL Tridion platform. The new site makes it easier for users to find the information they need through better faceted search facilities and improved information architecture (IA) and navigation. We created a new digital brand and digital brand guidelines and redesigned key pages and site-sections to improve the visitor experience. The News area has been completely redefined bringing in feeds for both the UK and global regions as well as incorporating business news from around the world. The new Comment and Insight area provides CIPD with the facility to respond to topical events quickly and to lead the discussion on HR issues and best practice.

Both users and the CIPD are delighted with the vibrant, colourful and rich site content and functionality. CIPD are confident that it has built a strong digital platform that will allow further e-business developments.
