One of the world’s leading brewers asked cScape to help them evolve their intranet into the ‘go to’ place for relevant and timely information, discussion and collaboration. The aspiration was for the website to become a global resource, across the 70+ brands, 60 countries and 6 regions.
Solution
cScape undertook an audit of the existing intranet against best practice, highlighting areas that could be enhanced to improve the user experience. Following an interview process, a prioritised list of business requirements was drawn up and distilled into intranet objectives.
cScape worked with the client to produce a shared vision statement that had the capacity to engage and excite users, improving intranet usage, collaboration on the intranet and knowledge sharing. Setting out a roadmap was the key to clarifying what actions needed to happen in order that the intranet vision and objectives could be realised. The roadmap was a blueprint for change and designed to keep the evolution of the intranet focused over the course of three years.
Outcome
Our audit, objectives, vision and roadmap gave our client the practical tools they required to meet their objective of creating a global ‘go to’ resource. With a clear understanding of who their audiences were and their priorities – all distilled into a vision objectives and roadmap – they were able to move into build phase with their inhouse team.
