Morgan Crucible - Intranet
Morgan Crucible, an advanced raw materials company, wanted to strengthen employee relations across over 100 worldwide locations and promote teamwork and efficiency with an intranet that reflects their style and structure. Our challenge was to create an innovative and advanced site that reflects Morgan Crucible’s style, and that centralised data and information while promoting a sense of community within.

Solution
We created a MOSS 2007 site utilising the latest technologies and techniques that was consistent with Morgan Crucible’s image. The main feature was a map tool that enabled a worldwide search for colleagues, providing staff the opportunity to communicate, collaborate, and locate any employee across all of Morgan Crucible’s locations. A collaboration space was also created to promote employee engagement and interactivity, allowing staff to share wikis, blogs and comments.
Outcome
The new site eliminates duplication of effort and promotes teamwork amongst Morgan Crucible’s 35,000 employees worldwide, which has also reduced costs and increased efficiency. The site has saved both time and money and provides Morgan Crucible with a positive return on investment
